Regions play a pivotal role in strengthening the communion between member churches by providing spaces for dialogue and action and by ensuring the connection between the local, regional, and global levels.
At the same time, each region is unique and thus the global office collaborates with each in the development of programmatic activities that will have the greatest impact in the area while also benefiting the entire Communion.
The 230+ member churches of the WCRC are grouped into geographic regions, although not all areas have organized regional councils:
- Africa: Africa Communion of Reformed Churches
- Asia: Northeast Asia Area Council; Communion of Reformed Churches in Indonesia
- Caribbean: Caribbean and North American Area Council
- Europe: WCRC Europe
- Latin America: Latin America Alliance of Presbyterian and Reformed Churches
- Middle East
- North America: Caribbean and North American Area Council
- Pacific
