Lombard Prize

The WCRC offers a prize in memory of the late Georges Lombard, a former treasurer of the World Alliance of Reformed Churches (a predecessor organization of the WCRC).

The aim is to encourage theological work in the tradition of Reformed thought that responds to challenges of our time, bringing together elements of faith and theology in dialogue with justice and peace issues and mission in the world—all central themes of Reformed witness.

This is done through an essay contest, inviting young people to write on a specific topic within this larger framework.
