The Church of Scotland is recruiting for an innovative ministry among Glasgow’s arts community. The Pioneer Glasgow Arts minister will be charged with engaging with artists—especially visual artists—across the city and exploring new forms of worship and ways of expressing faith.

The United Church of Canada is deeply concerned for the more than 11 million people who are now internal or external refugees, displaced by the fighting in Syria. As the numbers of refugees increase, the United Church has been asked to help. The church launched an emergency appeal for donations in 2013 and renewed that call in 2015. Funds received will be directed to their partners on the ground.
